How to Help: Animal Rescue Flights

A volunteer group has rescued 26 dogs from an overcrowded South Carolina shelter that euthanizes up to 300 animals per week, the group's founder told CBS 6 News.

Cloud Nine Rescue Flights landed on Saturday at Albany International Airport, where founder/pilot Ted DuPuis released nine of the dogs to the Capital District Humane Association. The remaining 17 were bound for New Hampshire.

The dogs were expected to be put up for adoption sometime within the next month.
