The Greenwich Regional Medical Center is slated to begin seeing patients on May 20th.
The new facility will have Washington County's only advanced medical imaging center, offering digital mammography, CT scans, ultrasounds, bone density screening and other important diagnostic services.
Nephrology, urology, rheumatology and other services will also be offered, the hospital said.
"The Greenwich Regional Medical Center will be a model for easily accessible and top quality care in the Washington County area and we are pleased to report well-known physicians and staff that have long practiced at the Greenwich Family Health Center will be moving into the new Center," said David G. Kruczlnicki, president and CEO of Glens Falls Hospital, in a statement.
"In addition, Glens Falls Hospital is partnering with some of the region's most respected specialists, including oncologists, cardiologists, surgeons and gastroenterologists to provide office hours at the new Medical Center," Kruczlnicki said.
The medical center is expected to help fill some of the medical void in the area since the closing of Mary McClellan Hospital in 2003.
The medical center is located at 1134 State Route 29 in Greenwich, just off the town's roundabout. It will be open Monday through Friday.
A grand opening ceremony is scheduled for June 7th.
