ALBANY -- The Capital Region gets a $2 million investment from Friendly's.
The restaurant chain says the greater Capital Region will serve as a test market for significant upgrades and improvements to the friendly's brand, including a brand new menu.
Through the Empire State Project, Friendly's will invest $2 million into its 17 area restaurants.
The chain’s CEO was joined by Albany Mayor Jerry Jennings and other local leaders Monday for the announcement at the recently remodeled Friendly's on Central Avenue in Albany.
