WEB DISCUSSION: Beating the Heat in the Capital Region

Really, Capital Region. How are you dealing with the heat?

Those of us lucky enough to work indoors on a day like this get to enjoy the modern miracle that is air conditioning; but how about those of you who have no A/C, either at work or at home? (Mechanicville had no choice but to endure lack of air conditioning today.) Or those of you who work outdoors?

Perhaps you plan on spending your evening at the air-conditioned library or taking a spontaneous trip to the pool after work?

Has bedtime consisted of pillowcases packed with frozen water bottles?

So, tell us -- what's your most creative way of beating the heat in the Capital Region, either in today's heat wave or those hot, sticky days from summers past?
