Car and ambulance crash in Warren County, four hospitalized

QUEENSBURY -- Four people were hospitalized following an accident involving a car and West Glens Falls Ambulance in Queensbury on Saturday, according to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash happened at the intersection of Richardson Street and Luzerne Road.

Investigators said Robert Palandrani, 71, of Ticonderoga, who was behind the wheel of a Subaru, ran a stop sign and collided with the ambulance.  

Palandrani and his wife, Carol Palandrani, 71, were taken to Glens Falls Hospital.  

The driver of the ambulance, Shawn Fitzgibbon, 30, and his passenger, James Worth, 20, were also taken to the hospital.

Their conditions were unknown.
