Former school psychologist admits sex with student
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A former Rensselaer County psychologist admitted in court Thursday morning that she had a sexual relationship with a 14-year-old student.
Jennifer Hastings, 33, of West Sand Lake confessed while entering a plea before Judge Patrick McGrath. Her trial was set to begin next week.
Hastings was a counselor for the then-freshman at Tamarac High School in Brunswick when the sexual trysts occurred in September and October 2007.
She could be sentenced in December to between 2 and 20 years in state prison.
