Child cancer patients to receive life-sized playhouses

October 8, 2008 - 12:27 PM

As a part of their annual community outreach project, more than 75 employees of VersaTrans Solutions in Latham are constructing eight life-sized playhouses that will be donated to randomly selected patients from the Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at Albany Med.

The patients will get a sneak peak at the playhouses Wednesday afternoon at the hospital, but will actually receive them at a later date.

VersaTrans Solutions is a division of Tyler Technologies -- a transportation software and service provider for school districts in North America.
