Price Chopper expands Fuel Advantage program for CDTA bus riders
ALBANY -- It started as a way for drivers to cut down on fuel costs, but now Price Chopper is expanding its very popular Fuel Advantage program to people who take the bus.
The program stems from Price Chopper's Fuel Advantage program, which saves shoppers 10 cents per gallon on gas for every $50 spent.
Golub Corporation officials announced Tuesday at the Westgate Price Chopper the expansion of the program to include discounts for people who use monthly CDTA passes. It's an effort to boost public transportatiobn and cut down on the number of cars on the road.
For bus-riding customers, you can take $2 off CDTA bus passes. To redeem your bus pass, just head to the customer service counter at any Price Chopper.
