Police: Local teen dead in accidental drowning

Police say a 17-year-old East Nassau teen is dead after he drowned in the Kinderhook Creek this afternoon.
State Police identified the teen as Alexander Sager.
His body was recovered from the creek along Schoolhouse Road and Old Route 20 in Nassau and was transported to Albany Med.
An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow morning.
Police say the drowning appears to be accidental.
