Photos of Wounds Entered as Evidence
Jurors sat silent and still while gruesome pictures of Peter Porco's wounds were entered into evidence Thursday.
Albany County Forensic Pathologist Doctor Jeffrey Hubbard gave detailed and specific accounts about Peter Porco's 16 individual body wounds in court. Porco's upper and lower jaws were broken by the ax attack, but Hubbard also testified Mr. Porco survived for several hours, and that the injuries were consistent with long survival if medical care could have been rendered. Hubbard testified that some of the wounds indicated that Mr. Porco was struck while he raised his arms during the attack.
