Albany Police investigate robbery

Albany Police are investigating a strong armed robbery that happened early Saturday morning.
Police say the two victims, both Albany residents, were walking home when they saw a fight in front of 217 New Scotland Ave. The victims told police they yelled at the group to stop fighting. They say that's when a group of teenage girls came up to them, knocked them down, and started to punch and kick them
One of the victims told police that she had money and personal items stolen from her pocketbook.
The two victims refused medical treatment.
