Mother and son arrested for Kinderhook robbery
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A mother and son were arrested Sept. 21 following a robbery at Hannaford's Plaza on State Route 9 in Kinderhook, according to a statement released by State Police Livingston-BCI.
Police said Cody A. McGuire, 23, of Leeds, N.Y., and Bonnie G. Riverburg, 47, of Valatie, allegedly used a pocket knife and assaulted a victim before stealing the victim's iPod.
Greene County Sheriffs are investigating an incident that spurred what police are calling a "retaliation" robbery and assault, according to the statement.
McGuire and Riverburg were arrested for first degree robbery and arraigned in the Town of Kinderhook Court. Both were sent to Columbia County Jail on $25,000 bail and $50,000 bond. They will be in court on Oct. 27 at 6 P.M.
