Two men were arrested in Amsterdam this morning in a drug raid conducted by town police and US Marshals, the Amsterdam Police Department announced.
Juan Lamboy, 27, was arrested at 11 Willard St. on a felony charge of criminal sale of a controlled substance, police said.
While executing the search warrant, police identified 29-year-old Alfredo Bauza of Brooklyn for violating his parole. The US Marshals treated Bauza as an absconder and arrested him to send back to Brooklyn.
Police also recovered a stolen gun from Saratoga County, a non-functioning .22 caliber reported stolen in Saratoga Springs in 2002.
Lamboy had been wanted since April 2009, when he was supposed to be arrested in a raid, according to Det. Lt. Thomas DiMezza.
