A 45-year-old Amsterdam man was arrested this morning in a drug raid by Montgomery County police.

Jose Colon of 41 Elizabeth St. was charged with felony criminal sale of a controlled substance after police executed a search warrant at his home at 6 a.m.

Colon, who had just been released from federal parole, had been the subject of several complaints, according to investigators. Police investigated Colon for three months before today's arrest.

Police seized around $1,400 in cash, a scale and drug paraphernalia from the Elizabeth St. home.
