Police are investigating a fatal accident in the Town of Day, in Saratoga County.

Police tell us two people were in a jeep, towing a boat, when the driver went to turn onto a boat launch.

Police say that's when 45-year-old Robert Hurn of Richmondville hit the boat trailer on his motorcycle.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the jeep, Keving Humphrey of Lake Luzerne, was issued a ticket for failure to yield right of way.
