BALLSTON SPA, NY -- One day after a local man shoots up the Double M Rodeo Store on Route 67, state police now say that man is Oscar Castellanos of Schuylerville, NY.

Police had trouble identifying Castellanos after he was arrested because of a language barrier.

After police arrived on the scene Wednesday morning, state police say a store employee pointed towards Castellanos who was running away after the witness told police he used a rifle to blast open the front door by firing three shots.

State troopers say the 37 year old Castellanos took off in a blue Chevy Lumina through a field behind the store.

He was arrested for Burglary 2nd, Criminal Use of a Firearm 2nd and Criminal Mischief 3rd.

Castellanos is currently in the Saratoga County jail on a $100,000 bail.
