Albany Police searching for five men they are responsible for a robbery on Second Street Monday.
Police say a 33 year-old man was driving down the street around 5:30 p.m. when he was flagged down by one men. The victim told police when he pulled over one man began punching him through the car window while another man got into the car with a gun. He was hit in the head with the gun, and the suspects stole $2,000 in cash.
After a brief struggle, police say the victim made it back to his vehicle and flagged down an officer.
The victim suffered a minor laceration to his head. The suspects are described as five black males all in dark clothing.
