A Watervliet man is facing charges after police found 19 illegal guns at his home. 

Watervliet Police say Richard Bishop, 40, of 211-13th Street had 16 long guns, two handguns, a sawed off 12 gauge shotgun and marijuana when they searched his home.  Police first learned of the guns during a separate investigation.  

Bishop, a convicted felon, was charged wtih federal firearms possession and drug possession charges.  He was arraigned and sent to the Albany County jail without bail.
