Troy Police arrest 2 Brooklyn men for marijuana

Troy Police have have arrested two Brooklyn men in connection with nearly two pounds of marijuana. 

Trent Russell, 21, and Frantz Volmar, 19, were arrested Monday after the Troy Police Street Crimes Unit found the two with the marijuana, as well as 500 dollars, scales, packing and other drug paraphernalia.

Troy Police were at 507 2nd Street for another warrant when they detected the smell of marijuana, according to spokesman Det. David Dean.  Dean says the two men were running a marijuna business from the home.

Russell and Volmar were arraigned in Troy City Court on felony possession of marijuana in the 2nd degree.
