Pizza sales down nation-wide

NEW YORK (AP) -- The economic slump is taking a slice out of the pizza business. All the major pizza chains report a sag in sales, as cash-strapped consumers eat at home.
Domino's is now offering hot subs, while Pizza Hut has added a new lasagna to its line of pastas. But industry analysts say the new dishes won't offset the decline in demand for a large pepperoni with extra cheese.
