Pantyhose Bandit' leaves hosiery on Mass. street
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Dozens of pantyhose that have been left near a Milford school bus stop are causing sheer annoyance in the neighborhood.
The pantyhose -- sometimes new, sometimes used -- haves been left on Camp Street for more than two years. They're almost always black and queen sized.
Resident Laurie Warich tells the Milford Daily News she picked up 43 pairs in one day.
Police say they've done some investigating and talked to one suspect. But Chief Thomas O'Loughlin said the only crime being committed is littering and his department just doesn't have the resources to focus on the case.
Some neighbors are discussing doing an amateur sting with video cameras and walkie talkies to catch the so-called "Pantyhose Bandit."
