CNY kids arrested for tossing rocks at Thruway traffic
SYRACUSE -- Four boys are in trouble with the law after at least one vehicle was damaged by rocks tossed at passing traffic on the Thruway.
An Onondaga County Sheriff's deputy located the four youths, age 11 to 13, after the rock-throwing incident Friday afternoon just east of Exit 37 in Syracuse. A witness identified one of the boys.
Police say one vehicle had a deep dent and scratches on the passenger side front door.
The youths were charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and released to the custody of their parents pending action by the county probation office.
