A Patersonville man has been arrested for the sexual abuse of a 13 year old girl. 

 State Police say 68 year old Rocco N. Irish of Main Street in Patersonville has been arrested for felony sexual abuse and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child in connection with the sexual abuse of a 13 year old female during the summer of 2008.

After six weeks of conducting interviews and working with the Schenectady County District Attorney State Police in Princetown made the arrest on Saturday.

Irish was arraigned in Princetown Town Court and released on $1,500 cash bail and must appear in court on a future date.
