70-year-old Warren County doctor arrested after caught spray-painting
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A 70-year-old Chestertown doctor was arrested over the weekend after he was caught making graffiti in the town of Lake George, police said.
Dr. Kenneth Hopper was caught spray-painting the word "rowlow" on to the Warren County Bike Trail overpass on State Route 9L in the town of Lake George Saturday afternoon, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office.
The Sheriff's Office said Hopper had parked his car on the shoulder of Route 9L -- American Legion Drive -- and was in the middle of spray-painting when patrol officers approached him.
"Dr. Hopper said that he did not know what the word means but found it 'intriguing,'" according to the statement from the Sheriff's Office.
Hopper was arrested and charged with misdemeanor making graffiti and possessing graffiti instruments.
Hopper was released with an appearance ticket and will be arraigned at Lake George Town Court on April 23rd, said the Sheriff's Office.
