The tables are turned on the Albany County District Attorney's office -- Signature Pharmacy and its owners, who were the targets of the D.A.'s steroid investigation are now suing him.
The lawsuit filed Friday in Florida's Orange County Circuit Court alleges that Albany County D.A. David Soares and other law enforcement officials violated the owners; civil rights during the two-year multi-state investigation.
Back in July, Marci Natale reported the price tag of the investigation was in the tens of thousands, and records showed that in just one year, the D.A.'s office racked up close to $25,000 in plane fare and hotel costs alone.
D.A. Soares told Marci at the time that close to a million dollars in proceeds had been seized and acquired as a result of the investigation.
Soares's office referred CBS 6 to the Albany County attorney's office -- that office has not responded.
