Wynantskill man dies after found on side of North Greenbush road

Police are investigating the death of a Wynantskill man discovered lying on the side of a North Greenbush road Sunday before he was transported to at a hospital and later died.

North Greenbush Police say a driver was traveling through the Snyders Lake section of the town when he spotted the body of a man on the shoulder of the road along Pershing, near South Lakeview Ave. 

The man, later identified as Peter Guinan of Wynantskill, was transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital, where he died Monday afternoon of trauma to the head.

State and North Greenbush Police are investigating the incident and ask anyone with information to contact North Greenbush P.D. at 518-283-5323.
