NYC bracing for flu

NEW YORK (AP) -- New York City is bracing for a second wave of swine flu in the fall.

The New York Times says health officials plan to make space in hospitals, clinics and other buildings to screen people before they can overwhelm emergency rooms.

Health officials say the virus may continue to circulate at low levels throughout the summer.

The worst day of the spring outbreak was May 25. Officials say 2,500 people visited city emergency rooms complaining of flu-like illness. The number on the same day last year was 150.
