Police seize item from Jaliek's former home

A new twist in the Jaliek Rainwalker case today.

After Jaliek's adoptive grandmother, Barbara Reeley, turned herself in for allegedly entering Jaliek's former home, she said that she discovered something that could alter the case completely.

A source tells us that the yellow fleece jacket Jaliek was supposedly wearing the day he disappeared was found by Barbara Reeley inside the home, which sparked an additional police search.

We reached out to Cambridge Greenwich Police Chief George Bell who wouldn't confirm the nature of the evidence, only to say that an item had been recovered and will be tested at a state police lab for any trace of the missing boy.
