Boys, 5 and 14 injured on scooter
Fathers charged with endangering

Investigators say the driver of a ZHEC Scoot Car moped was 14 years old and the passenger was 5. The front wheel fell off while the boys were riding along Birch Avenue in Lake George and the moped rolled over, causing minor injuries.
The Warren County Sheriff's Department says the boys' fathers, Gustavo Vasquez, 52, of Port Chester and 40-year old Arturo Juarez of Greenwich, Connecticut allowed them to go off on the moped, resulting in charges of endangering the welfare of a child.
Juarez is also charged with permitting unlicensed operation.
