Man pulled from Mohawk River

A man who fell into the Mohawk River at Lock Ten in Amsterdam was pulled out of the water and brought to the shore by a male bystander on Tuesday. 

Montgomery County Sheriff Michael Amato said in a release that the man appeared to be floating in the current, and was airlifted to Albany Medical Center for treatment.

The man's identity is being withheld until his family is notified. His condition is unknown.
