Police: Drug suspect had photo resembling missing teen Jaliek Rainwalker
GREENWICH -- There's a possible lead in a nearly three-year-old case over a missing teen.
A few weeks back, police arrested a Greenwich man, Scott Thorpe, for abducting and trying to kill a man over a drug debt.
After searching the suspect's computer, investigators say they came across a picture of a body whose features resembled those of missing teen Jaliek Rainwalker.
Photos were sent to the center for missing and exploited children but forensic scientists doubt the body is that of Rainwalker.
Chief Bell, however, says there was an undeniable resemblance.
Rainwalker went missing back in November of 2007. His adopted father, Stephen Kerr, has always been considered a person of interest in the case because he was the last person seen with the young boy.
