UPDATED Jan. 7th
Utica Police say they have located a teen reported missing over the weekend and that the girl has been turned over to Little Falls Police to be reunited with her mother.
Police in the Herkimer County town about 75 miles west of Albany said Monday they were looking for a missing teen after she failed to show up to work and to school over the weekend.
Sixteen-year-old Justine Street of Little Falls had been missing since the evening of Jan. 2nd, according to town Police Chief Michael Masi.
Police say Street did not show up for work at the New York State Thruway rest area at Indian Castle Sunday, Jan. 3rd, and did not show up for school at the Fords Bush Christian School Monday, Jan. 5th.
Street is described as 5'4" in height and around 140 pounds in weight, with brown eyes and brown shoulder-length hair with red tint.
Street was last seen wearing a thigh-length green coat with gray fur lining and rim around the hood, blue jeans, and bear claw boots with fur on the sides.
Police said they believed Street was dropped off in the St. Johnsville area Saturday, Jan. 3rd.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Little Falls Police Department at 315-823-1122.
