Guilty Verdict in Nahjaliek McCall Murder Trial

Former Albany High School student Nahjaliek McCall has been found guilty in the murder of 15-year-old Shahied Oliver.

The 16-year-old now faces a minimum sentence of 7 and a half years to life in prison. At maximum McCall could face15 years to life.

A jury found McCall guilty of killing fellow Albany High student Oliver at a late night birthday party at the Skyline Gardens apartments in Arbor Hill last August.

Prosecutor's had maintained that the murder was payback for a time when Oliver and his brothers attacked McCall.

Jury deliberations started around 10:30 this morning in the case.

McCall will be sentenced sometime in July.
