UPDATED: Schenectady child remains in coma after accident, investigators to return to the scene

UPDATED: 12/5 8:30 AM

Investigators in Schenectady are expected to return to the scene of an accident that injured six children, one of whom remains in a coma.

10 year old Lynn Anderson along with mom and five brothers and sisters were all struck by a pickup truck while crossing State Street Wednesday Night.

The grandmother of the family, Elizabeth Speanburg, says Lynn remains at Albany Med in coma with two broken legs after having her spleen removed.

Mom Sherry Anderson, 15 year old Sapica, 11 year old Elizabeth, 6 year old Isaiah, and 2 year old Charles will all be alright following the terrible accident.

The driver of the truck that struck the family was questioned by Schenectady Police Wednesday night and was released.

Anyone who might want to help the family through this tough time to do so at any Citizen Bank branch.  To donate, just walk in and say you'd like to donate to the Anderson family.
