Jewelry, rifles recovered from accused burglars in Hoosick
Comments 0 | Recommend 0State Police have arrested two people they say burglarized houses in Rensselaer, Washington and Saratoga counties, and may have ties to burglaries in Albany County and eastern Vermont.
Forty-year-old Gregory Frank and 29-year-old Tara Morelli were arrested at their Telford Road home in the town of Hoosick Thursday, Jan. 8th, after an investigation into ongoing burglaries in the area.
The two were charged with criminal possession of stolen property and criminal possession of a weapon, and could face additional charges.
Police recovered 16 jewelry boxes, a large amount of loose jewelry and two rifles while executing a search warrant at their home.
Anyone who may have previously reported a burglary and is missing an item matching the description above is asked to contact State Police at Brunswick at 518-279-4427.
