Hudson Falls man arrested for animal cruelty

Police arrested a Hudson Falls man today for animal cruelty after he allegedly broke a dog's leg.

Hudson Falls Police said in a statement that Donavin M. Murray, 28, of Hudson Place broke the hind leg of a friend's 17-week-old pitbull when he threw the dog on the ground.

Murray is due back in Hudson Falls Court next week.

The dog is expected to make a full recovery.

I think someone should break BOTH of this guys legs. That might sink in. We all know he's hoing to get a $100 fine and a slap on the wrist for "Throwing puppies out of season."
