CBS 6 News is en route to Hudson Falls Middle School, where emergency crews are investigating reports of students falling ill.
The Kingsbury Fire Department responded to the school Friday morning on a report of an odor in the building and students falling ill.
A spokesman from the school district says about 10 students were suffering headache and nausau and were taken to the hospital for evaluation. No word on any of their conditions.
The odor is apparently emanating from a tarring project underway on the roof of the school building, brought into the building through the ventilation system.
The fire department has cleared the building and opened up ventilation.
The school has sent its students to the high school for lunch, and will dismiss them at 1:00 p.m.
