A Georgia man fell fifty feet to his death in Greene County yesterday.
33-year-old Jeremy Mullins was attending a "Peace Village Retreat" with his girlfriend, according to State Police Spokesperson Diana Benoit.
The couple was hiking together over the Kaaterskill Falls on a public path in the Town of Hunter. Benoit says, Mullins just slipped off the path and fell fifty feet to his death.
"It isn't the first time someone has fallen off that path," says Benoit. "It's treacherous terrain."
No alcohol or drugs were involved according to Benoit.
