Hudson Police arrested two men Wednesday afternoon on gun possession charges after one of the men was seen running up a street with a gun under his shirt.
Police say an officer observed a man on State St. with a handgun silhouetted under his t-shirt, and when the officer approached that man and the two others with him, a foot chase ensued.
Officers caught up with the first subject, 21-year-old Damien Davis, at North 4th St. and Long Alley, where he was found in possession of a loaded .22 long rifle caliber H & R revolver.
A second subject, 26-year-old Michael Ramsey was caught after half a block; police say he had tossed a loaded Walther P-22 semi automatic .22 caliber handgun which was found to have a defaced serial number.
Davis and Ramsey were arrested. A third man in the party was detained and released on the scene.
Both were charged with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
