One Killed in Early Morning Fire in Granville
Comments 0 | Recommend 0GRANVILLE, N.Y. (AP) -- Authorities say a 33-year-old man has died in a fire at the eastern New York home he shared with his parents.
Police in Granville say the fire was reported around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday. Authorities say the body of Jeremy Jones was found inside the home.
His parents were able to escape unharmed. Both were taken to Glens Falls Hospital, where they were treated for smoke inhalation.
Granville fire officials say the cause of the blaze is under investigation. The origin isn't believed to be suspicious.
Granville is near the Vermont border 52 miles northeast of Albany.
