Gas prices are down to start the week

The average for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.69 early Monday morning, according to the CBS 6 Gas Gauge. That's down about one-and-a-half cents from Sunday.
The lowest prices are in Washington, Warren and Saratoga counties today.
The Hess station on Route 9 in Fort Edward is charging $3.51 per gallon, according to the gauge. In Queensbury, both the Gulf and Hess stations on Main Street are also charging $3.51. The Citgo on Route 50 in Burnt Hills is slightly higher at $3.54.
The highest advertised price is $3.85 per gallon, according to AlbanyGasPrices.com.
Last month, the average price per gallon in the Capital Region was $3.78 - that's an almost nine-cent difference from a month ago. But prices are about 79 cents higher from this time last year.
On Friday, crude oil rose to $104.55 per barrel on news of the economic bailout package. It's unclear how the markets will react when they open this morning now that details of the $700 billion plan have been released.
