TROY -- A family of five was burned out of their apartment Sunday afternoon, according to the Red Cross.
An adult and five children -- ages 14, 9, 5 and 5 months -- were forced from their home in a three-story apartment building on River Street, the agency said.
Other families were able to return to their home as most of the fire damage was confined to the first floor.
