Vermont women arrested for heroin possession

ALBANY -- Two women have been charged with heroin possession in Albany.

State Police say the originally pulled over Rutland, Vermont, residents Heidi Hutchins, 33, and Felicia Ackley, 26, on I-87 for multiple moving violations. But they say they discovered both women had heroin on them.

Police say they found more than 120 grams of the drug along with one hypodermic needle and a plastic straw containing heroin residue.

Both women were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and a narcotic drug with intent to sell.Vermont women arrested for heroin possession
