MALTA - State Police say two Department of transportation plows were involved in two different accidents on the Northway on Saturday.
Police say the first accident occurred at 7:30 p.m. when 26-year-old Robert Clemente, Jr. of Troy, traveling southbound between Exits 12 and 13, stuck the plow's blade, shearing off the roof of his pickup truck.
Clemente suffered minor injuries, and was taken to Glens Falls hospital for evaluation. He has been charged with DWI and issued an appearance ticket.
The plow truck driver was not injured.
Police say the other accident occurred at around 8:20 when a car drove into the back of a plow truck. There were no injuries. The driver of that car was arrested and charged with DWI.
