EAST GREENBUSH -- Police are asking for the public's help to track down a suspect they say robbed a bank on Troy Road.
According to officials, the suspect entered the TD Bank branch at 71 Troy Road shortly after 10 a.m. on Wednesday. They say he handed the teller a note demanding money and warning her to cooperate.
The suspect, who approached and left the bank on foot, is described as a white male, 6 feet tall or taller, in his late 20s or early 30s. Police say he had an upper lip mustache and possible a goatee of some sort. He was wearing a heavy dark hooded coat with the hood up over a dark knit hat, as well as gloves, blue carpenters' jeans with frayed bottom hems, and heavy work boots.
Police say he was last seen entering the Mill Creek neighborhood opposite the bank. They are asking anyone who may have any information, including residents of the Mill Creek and Commons neighborhoods, to contact authorities at (518) 479-2525.
