Police: Man hired to paint house stole thousands in jewelry

ALBANY COUNTY -- Police say a Middle Grove man who was hired to pain is now facing burglary charges.
Sean Descisciolo, 30, is accused of taking more than $9,000 in jewelry at a home where he was hired as a painter. Police say he then pawned the stolen property at a Troy pawn shop called Captain cash.
Descisciolo is facing felony burglary and grand larceny charges. He is currently in the Albany County Jail on $20,000 bail.
