ALBANY -- An Albany man will spend 7 to 15 years behind bars after admitting to stealing identities of patients at Albany Medical Center.
The judge also ordered Emmett Woods to pay back almost $24,000 in damages. Wood's girlfriend, Suzette Guzman-Moore was a nurse at Albany Med. Both admitted to stealing the identities of patients being treated at the hospital. The pair then applied for credit cards and made purchases using the stolen information.
Guzman-Moore faces 5 to 15 years when she is sentenced on Tuesday.
