SCHENECTADY -- Jurors are back at it in Schenectady, continuing to deliberate the fate of James Wells.
The 30-year-old Brooklyn man is charged with murdering Schenectady High basketball star Eddie Stanley, 15, who was gunned down at a late night house party back in June 2011.
Prosecutors say Wells was trying to get his car keys from other party goers, and when they refused to be frisked, he opened fire and killed Stanley.
Wells testified that he was armed and pulled a gun, but never fired it.
His attorney, Cheryl Coleman, says her client is not prepared to spend the rest of his life in prison for a crime he didn't commit.
Wednesday marks the second full day of deliberations.
