SCHENECTADY -- A judge ruled on Wednesday that two dogs deemed dangerous in Schenectady County will have to be put down.
Owner Sean McKearn accepted a plea deal, and will have to euthanize both dogs Tyson, and Victor. He will also have to pay restitution of $2,600 to the family of the dog who his brutally attacked. He must complete 75 hours of community service, and cannot own a dog for one year. If he does not comply, the judge said he would sentence him to 90 days in county jail.
