Jail guard pleads guilty in gambling ring case

ALBANY -- The final defendant in an Albany County Jail gambling ring hs pleaded guilty.
Former jail guard Timothy Robillard of Clifton Park pleaded guilty to one count of promoting gambling on Tuesday morning. Authorities say he was involved with four other men, including another jail guard, in setting up an internet gambling ring that reached into several states. They say the ring was operated out of the jail.
Robillard will be sentenced in April. The other four men have also pleaded guilty.
